In 2014 Nissan became car sponsor of the UEFA Champions League. Through the partnership they sought to enrich the UCL experience for fans, and to prove that Nissan truly creates ‘innovation that excites’.

We developed the entire 360 creative platform - ‘Engineers of excitement’ - which championed the game changers, the #genius, the moments of brilliance that have you leaping out of your seat. It included break bumpers, print, outdoor, and the digital platform ‘Goal of the Week’.

The bumpers were so well received we were asked to create two 60" montages for TV, one of which aired before the final.

For our digital platform we developed an algorithm to find the real #genius of the UEFA Champions League each week. It measures the excitement, the tension and the difficulty of the goals and from this the #genius ‘Goal of the week’ is calculated.
